Stephen Huerta, Workify Co-Founder and CEO, had studied the invisible hand of culture and engagement during his time as a manager for business technology solutions and manager of project transitions at EY, then at Goldman Sachs as an HR associate for global ventures and later, as a vice president developing technology strategy and helping implement offshore operations. The pain Stephen saw both companies suffer due to disengaged employees — and his belief on how to turn that around — led him to launch a consultancy, prior to Workify, to help companies, like Apple, define their culture, measure employee engagement, and improve organizational commitment. Stephen’s Fortune 500 experience in HR paired with his strong consulting background helps Workify bring the right value to clients every day.
Dustin Wells, Co-Founder & Chairman
Dustin Wells, Workify Co-Founder and Chairman, previously founded Headspring, an enterprise software development firm. What led Dustin to appreciate and want to dive into cultivating the value of culture and engagement was that at Headspring, he realized that he would never be able to compete with larger companies that use their deep pockets to attract the best talent. Knowing he couldn’t compete on compensation, Dustin said, “I will compete on culture and engagement.” He soon became a culture and engagement thought leader in the software development world. Dustin brings 20 years of enterprise software experience to Workify along with a practical, hands-on approach to building and scaling company culture.
